ARM Security’s CCTV Visual Verification platform has been featured in a Channel 9 Perth news story about Perth’s burglary hot spots. ARM demonstrated their state of the art security monitoring technology that enables the control room operator to view burglars live in the act of breaking into a home, allowing the operator to provide the responding police real-time information on what is occurring on site.
Channel 9 chose ARM Security to feature in the story, being the only monitoring centre in WA providing Visual Verification.
The platform allows ARM Security to remotely connect to a site’s CCTV system and view all cameras on site. This can be in response to an alarm activation (Visual Verification) or to undertake random visual inspections of the site (Virtual Patrols).
Then, based on the agreed instructions from the site owner and with real-time visual information on what is occurring, ARM’s operators will escalate the event to the appropriate key holders, police or security guards.
CTI Security Manager Chris Burns said, “this added level of information is a quantum leap forward in security for West Australian homes and businesses, and could potentially lead to higher arrest rates and lower security costs for businesses”.
Through Securus, which provides the supply, installation, and servicing of alarm and CCTV systems, and ARM Security, the largest independent A1 graded security monitoring centre in WA, homes and businesses now have the ultimate guard against crime.
